The Developers Club hosted its Annual Members BBQ this week, bringing together a vibrant mix of property developers, industry professionals, and their families for a relaxed day of networking and community-building.
This year’s gathering had a few special highlights, including a surprise appearance by a very young first-time attendee, the son of one of the founder of the Property Investors Awards, marking his unofficial debut in the world of property networking. It was a charming reminder of how inclusive and community-driven the Club’s events have become.
The afternoon also featured special guest Hayley Andrews, renowned property entrepreneur and an Official Judge for the Property Investors Awards. Her presence was a welcome addition, with guests enjoying informal chats with her throughout the afternoon. Andrews even joined in on a few games of bowls in the park, and reportedly dominated them with grace and good humour.
Attendees appreciated the event’s well-balanced format: casual networking, quality food, and plenty of activities to keep children entertained, making it a family-friendly affair. Beyond the social element, many attendees commented on the value of meeting long-standing online connections in person for the first time, reinforcing the strength and reach of The Developers Club’s network.
Special recognition goes to Shiro Rauniar, Shaunak Rauniar, Tex Jones, and the entire events team for organising a seamless and memorable day. The sense of momentum within this community of driven, early-stage and experienced developers alike was palpable.
As the property landscape continues to evolve, gatherings like these play a key role in nurturing collaboration, shared learning, and support. Judging by the energy and engagement at this year’s BBQ, The Developers Club is well on its way to becoming one of the most dynamic communities in the property sector.
