Our three sustainable categories—Sustainable Property Developer of the Year, Sustainable Property Development of the Year (Above £1 Million), and Sustainable Property Development of the Year (£1 Million or Below)—shine a spotlight on those who are redefining the standards of excellence in property development through sustainable practices.
1. Sustainable Property Developer of the Year
This is awarded to a property developer that has reaped a respectable financial reward whilst placing much emphasis on being eco-friendly and pushing the boundaries of design and ethics on multiple developments. Innovation and energy efficiency should be at the core of the development designs. To qualify, the developer must have owned at least 10% equity in each property upon acquisition and completed a minimum of three eco-friendly developments by the end of the awards period.
Key Criteria:
- Financial success with a strong emphasis on sustainability
- Ownership of at least 10% equity in each development
- Completion of at least three eco-friendly developments
- Innovative and energy-efficient design at the core of projects
2. Sustainable Property Development of the Year (Above £1 Million)
This category honours a standout development valued at over £1 million that exemplifies the integration of sustainability and financial viability. The winning project will push the boundaries of design and ethics, showcasing how large-scale developments can be both profitable and environmentally responsible. Developers must have owned at least 10% equity in the property upon acquisition, ensuring a significant stake in the project’s success and sustainability.

3. Sustainable Property Development of the Year (£1 Million or Below)
This award category recognises exceptional eco-friendly developments valued at £1 million or below. It highlights that impactful sustainability practices are not limited to large-scale projects. The winning development will demonstrate how smaller projects can also achieve significant environmental and financial success. As with the other categories, developers must have owned at least 10% equity in the property upon acquisition.
